Hello, I am a new cousin(I think) as I have just found that the maiden name of my ggg-grandmother Adeline who married John Rosenbaum in Elk Lick, Somerset County, PA was SHOCKEY! Looked through all the archives and could find nothing of this connection. Does anyone know if this is proven? I also found a site that said she died in June of 1914 but no location so I can't check. I know that John died in Grayling, Crawford County, Michigan in 1894. Up to now the only thing I could find was her name Adeline in the 1850 census, and "ERTLINE" in the 1880 census. Hope this works out as I certainly enjoy the stories about the Shockeys! Marianne
