I am not a Shacke descendent, but in doing some research on the passengers on the Ship Molly in 1737, I ran into an IGI entry for "Johann Christoph Schacke" that gives a 11 JUN 1720 christening, Evangelisch, Kirchheimbolanden, Pfalz, Bayern, father Jacob Schacke, mother Johanna Elizabetha. This 1720 christening date does not fully jibe with your estimated 1715 birth year, but as I understand it, you really do not know when your Christoffel was born, so he may or may not be the man you are looking for. I was especially intrigued with the location of Kirchheimbolanden, as it is only a few miles from Dielkirchen, which is where I think passenger Johannes Reitzmann was from. If you look at the Snow Molly lists, you will see that Christoffel Schacke was listed immediately after Johannes Reitzmann. I would be interested in hearing whether or not you have already discussed the Christoph Schacke of Kirchheimbolanden, and, if so, what conclusions were reached. Thanks, Dwayne Wrightsman
