July 21, 1825, Susanah Shockey married William Logan. On July 13, 1845, Susan Logan married John S. Miller. The 1850 Hancock County Census shows: Portage Township, Hancock County, Ohio, July 25, 1850 John S. Miller (58) - born Virginia Susannah (43) Mary Ann Logan (11) Martha Logan (9) Christian W. Logan (5) Bassel Miller (3) Sarah Miller (4/12) I did send for the Civil War Pension file of Bassel Miller. He says that he was born in Ross County. He stated that Susannah was his mother and Sarah E. Miller, his sister. Sarah Emma Miller was my Great Grandmother. Before marrying Susannah, John S. was married to an Elizabeth and had a family with her. They were all in Hancock County, Ohio. I would appreciate any assistance. Linda K. Smith Toledo, Ohio
