I believe he may have lived in Omaha, Nebraska and had one son there. He left that area and moved south and I don't believe he traveled back there but for very short visits. His birth certificate lists Dora Mansburg as his mother, I believe it says that Charles Shockey was his father, it's a little difficult to read.
