You see, my great grandfather was William Jacob Shockey Jr. Supposedly, he was hurt by a train track in Decatur. What I don't understand is that he had SEVERAL kids, but none of them are mentioned in the obit posted by Fanny. I believe he too, had more than one wife. I also think it is interesting that, he too, was married TO A BENNETT!!! The name you have been seeing all over the message board. Dora Hamilton Bennett. ANYWAY, I think there were brothers and sisters that may or may not have known about each other. I DEFINATELY have that picture of the mules SOMEWHERE in my family. I HAVE SEEN IT. 100% sure.
