I am looking for additional information on John W. (Wesley?) Shockey of Allen Co., OH. I find him in 1870 in Allen Co. w/wife Hannah (unk - could be Manahan) and daughters Cora A., Alena and Mary Z. I believe John is the son of William Shockey and Mary Hardesty. What happened to this family. In 1880 both Cora and Mary are living with in other households. Mary is listed as the neice of Erasmus Manahan. Cora is a servant in the hh of James Martin. In 1870 Aaron Manahan of Maryland is living next door to John and Hannah Shockey. Hannah is also listed as being born in Maryland. With this plus Mary being listed as a neice of Erasmus Manahan, I conclude Hannah was Hannah Manahan. Cora married Columbus Fruchey.
