I believe he may have lived in Omaha, Nebraska and had one son there. He left that area and moved south and I don't believe he traveled back there but for very short visits. His birth certificate lists Dora Mansburg as his mother, I believe it says that Charles Shockey was his father, it's a little difficult to read. Thanks for any response you may have to my updated email address.

Hi Cousins, I tried e-mailing some of you individually and several of the messages bounced, so I presume you have changed your addresses. Naomi Shockey called me yesterday and told me that Les has a very serious health problem that will almost certainly require surgery as soon as it can be arranged. She asked that I let you all know and ask you to put him on your 'prayer list' until further notice. He was having trouble with his computer, so that is going to have him all upset. When I hear anything new, I will let you know. Marie

Shock(e)y who was living in Louisville, KY in the 1840's. He married Mary Miller (date, place unknown). One of his children was Kate Shock(e)y b. April 18, 1847 Louisville, KY. By the 1860's the family was living in Clinton County, IN where Kate married Henry C. Harshman Jan. 5, 1865. The date of George's death is unknown but probably in Clinton Co, IN. Any clues greatly appreciated!
