Vianna Glaze can be found single in 1880 Ohio census records. We believe,Newton was her only marriage, that she was in her 50's when she married him ,about the same time her share of her father's estate was settled.I suspect "old maid" Vianna was more desirable for marriage after she was granted her share of her father's estate,as he owned much land in Hocking Co.,Oh.

    3. Hello Les, Kirchheimbolanden is northeast of Kaiserslauten and southwest of Alzey in the heart of the Pfalz. Males 16 and older were listed on the Snow Molly. The Johannes Reitzmann listed on the Molly may or may not have been the Johannes Ritzmann listed in the church books of Dielkirchen (about six miles west of Kirchheimbolanden). This Johannes Ritzmann (b1707) had a brother named Valentin (b1715) and a sister named Barbel (b1706) according to the IGI entries. The parents were Hanss Jacob and Gertraut. You may want to peruse the church records by entering batch numbers C991004 and M991004 on the IGI of FamilySearch.com. Be glad to work with you on the Snow Molly passengers. 3. Hello Dwayne, I am not aware of anyone having checked this. I had somehow missed this IGI entry and had never heard anyone else mention it prior to this. Some checking had been done in an attempt to confirm or prove false that our Johann Christoffel Schacke may have been the one christened in Bega. I will get my maps out this weekend and try to locate Kirchheimbolanden. The fact that they are listed one after the other does tend to support your suggestion. Also his first daughter was named Elizabeth but it was not until his third son that the name Jacob was used. Your Johannes Reitzmann did not by chance have a sister named Barbara and whose father was named Valentine? This might help answer many questions. No the exact age of Johann Christoffel is not known. The 1715 was surmised to fit the appropriate age for passage and being listed on the Snow Molly passenger list. There has been speculation that he might have been younger but looked old enough to not raise questions about his age. Would very much like to hear more from you. 1. Johann Christoph Schacke (b1720?)
    2. Dwayne Wrightsman
    3. I am not a Shacke descendent, but in doing some research on the passengers on the Ship Molly in 1737, I ran into an IGI entry for "Johann Christoph Schacke" that gives a 11 JUN 1720 christening, Evangelisch, Kirchheimbolanden, Pfalz, Bayern, father Jacob Schacke, mother Johanna Elizabetha. This 1720 christening date does not fully jibe with your estimated 1715 birth year, but as I understand it, you really do not know when your Christoffel was born, so he may or may not be the man you are looking for. I was especially intrigued with the location of Kirchheimbolanden, as it is only a few miles from Dielkirchen, which is where I think passenger Johannes Reitzmann was from. If you look at the Snow Molly lists, you will see that Christoffel Schacke was listed immediately after Johannes Reitzmann. I would be interested in hearing whether or not you have already discussed the Christoph Schacke of Kirchheimbolanden, and, if so, what conclusions were reached. Thanks, Dwayne Wrightsman
