This Joseph has to connect with our lines somewhere! :-) MKK ****************************************************************** >From the Desk of Liana Trombley Hi, Would you be familiar with the family of Joseph SHIVER, who had 2 sons and a newborn dtr when his wife, Hedwig (Hattie Kush) died of uremia poisoning in southeastern Michigan in 1949? The family story is that after Hattie died, Joseph Shiver left Michigan for GA or AL, where his sister raised the newborn dtr, who later became a nurse. Hattie Kush was Polish, being raised in Wyandotte, Wayne Co,Michigan. Joseph Shiver and Hattie lived in Royal Oak, north of Detroit, Wayne Co (Co is either Macomb or Oakland). Hattie is buried at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Oak Park, which is in one of the above counties (all north of Detroit). Hattie died in 1949.
