One of the mysteries we are working on - and I'm not making much progress after 25 years, is, which one of the Shiver brothers was the father of Ransom? My lineage to that goes through Anthony Shiver, who was my great grandfather, and is buried at Old Bethel Cem vic Isabella. When I asked my Dad his grandfather Shiver's name many years ago, and he told me Anthony, I thought he must be wrong as Anthony wasn't a Shiver name and beside that, it had never appeared before. There were 6 children in Uncle Loyd's family (I think), and 5 of them married Shivers. Uncle Loyd descends from Enoch's line, and we believe that Enoch was brother to Ransom.
