Gail - The Love/Nettles thing is used because we have been told (purely heresay mind you) that Dedemiah's maiden name was LOVE and NETTLES. If you have information on the NETTLES family in GA (or in Kershaw Co., S.C.) we'd sure love to see it, since it might help us (by other names used by the family or whatever) to decide if this was indeed her maiden name. We have also been told that the Sarah that married Manning SHIVER (Sr.) and the Dedemiah that married Enoch (my ancestor and Lyrice's) were sisters.
