Would like to correct a couple of items that appeared in the Shiver letters today. First, the name of Samuel James Augustus Shiver's wife was Sarah "Ann" Prestwood, not Sarah Jane. This mistake probably came from D. E. Cain's book. On page 295, he refers to her correctly as Sarah Ann, but on page 299(and throughout the rest of the book), he changes her name to Sarah Jane. Her full name was Sarah Ann Delila Prestwood. The second item is the birth date of Gilley Shiver, who married William Terry Prestwood. She was born on 10 Feb. 1819, not 1818. Terry and Gilley were my g-g-grandparents. Bill Cassady
