At Mary's Request here is my current stab at my family tree. I am Kenneth Charles Shiver and I live in Carrollton, Georgia with my wife and 11 month old son. I became interested in Genealogy after ROOTS and my maternal grandmother's interest in her family tree. At that time, I asked my faternal grandmother Lillie Mae Meadows Shiver to write down everything that she knew about our family history. Using that information I have tied things back to Ransome Shiver of Sylvester, Georgia (Isabella) and I have strong suspicions that I am related to the Shiver's of Kershaw County, SC. Attached is my Shiver Line. Note Mary Elizabeth Williams Shiver was adopted by the Shiver's of Camelia, Georgia as a child (she was Alexander's second wife). Everything back to Alexander is from my grandmother (and verified via census and other records). The connection to Ransome and Kershaw county is based on census information.
