Kenneth - I too am interested in the genetic condition among the SHIVERs. I have my Bach. of Science in Zoology, and genetics was one of my particular favorites. Up to this point I had figured that the gene pool must have been pretty resilient, since I hadn't heard of any disorders and there didn't seem to be a particularly high infant mortality rate (higher than normal anyway). Could you find out more about that? I'd love to hear it. I'm in one of the few lines where I can't trace back to more than one SHIVER, but I know there are lots of people on the list who can. Take care! (And I'd love to have the additional information on Alexander's children for my database!)
