ABT 1824, GA married Manning’s daughter, Dorcus Shiver b. ABT 1834, Dooly Co., GA. Manning’s son, Dorcus' brother, Manning Shiver, Jr. b. 1837, Dooly Co., GA married Celia Elizabeth Joiner. The son of Henry Fleming and Dorcus, Marshall Shiver b. 1858, GA, married the daughter of Manning Jr. and Celia Joiner, Arkansas Shiver b. 1862, GA. The daughter of Marshall and Arkansas, Lillie Mae Shiver b. 1896, Mitchell Co., GA, married a Mr. Merritt, and later married Roscoe Conklin Burtz. Lillie Mae and Roscoe’s daughter, Christine Burtz (living) Worth Co., GA married William David Mitchell. Christine and William David’s son, David Lamar Mitchell (living) Colquitt Co., GA married Patricia Ellen Floyd (living), and later married Marsha Lynn Holderby Anderson (living).
