Thanks to the generosity of Charles and Marjorie Lewis (writers of SARDIS PRIMITIVE BAPTIST CHURCH book) and Sardis PB Church (who own the copyrights to the book), the Colquitt County page now houses the complete history of the church, listings of members/deacons/pastors, and the cemetery transcripts. Sardis is one of the oldest churches in this area and has a large, old cemetery. The authors not only transcribed the stones, however. They also included notes on many of those buried there (from the HART FAMILY BOOK, etc.) http://www.rootsweb.com/~gacolqui/cemetery/cemetery.html Vickie ==== GAGEN Mailing List ==== For researching SURNAMES, check out GAGenWeb's new help page with links to the most popular Surname sites: http://www.rootsweb.com/~gagenweb/cchelp/surname/ --------------44702F77F4C--
