Do have a question though... does anyone out there have access to the Troy Alabama Public library or a copy of the book listed below. I sent a letter several weeks ago to the librarian but never received a reply. I also tried to find the book through Amazon dot Com but no luck. I would love to know what's in this thing... note the Shiver info and the other surnames that are listed. Several of these show up in later years connected to our line. I also think this might have some information about the "Pea Creek" area where Jacob, son of Jacob, son of Jacob, son of John and Hanna had property (I think that's the way it goes).
