John - never heard of this before except with my Granny Shiver (Mary Elizabeth BOZEMAN m. Hollie Fleming SHIVER); must be a Shiver thing! At any rate, your mention of this brought back lots of childhood memories. When we would visit Granny Shiver (during the mid-1960s) she would cut a small twig for each of the kids so we could make a "toothbrush" just like hers. Thanks for the reminder! Leary Cox
