    1. [SHERWOOD] Nathan Sherwood, 1770-?, res. Berlin, OH
    2. Hi Robert, He may be Nathan Sherwood, b. 20 APR 1770, d. Newark, OH; m. Sarah LEWIS, 1794. He is known to have lived in Alum Creek, Berlin, and Newark, all in Ohio. He was too young to have been a Loyalist. His father, Jonathan (b. 4 MAR 1738, Stamford, CT; d. 23 MAY 1823; bur. Woodbury, CT), appears to have lived out his days in Woodbury, Fairfield Co, CT. What leads you to believe that Nathan may have a Loyalist connection? Sources: 1. 5/11/1996 email from Diane Dietl 2.
