Her line is Pat, Lizzie Mae Sherwood, Lester Linzie Sherwood, Johnnie Gray Sherwood. Pat's husband (my brother), Porter Pierce, and she have been doing some work on the line and asked me to organize what they found. I put what they "know" into a genealogy computer program and am working on verifying the info. Presently I am checking the census for family members from 1850 to 1920 in TX, OK, LA, AL, MS, GA, TN, and MO. Shirley Richcourt has done extensive research on part of the family, but I have found discrepancies in some of her work. Tom Sherwood in Oklahoma has e-mailed Pat's son some info without sources attached. I'm trying to find him again to check out the info. So far, Johnnie and Carrie are elusive. They don't show up in the 1910 census anywhere. I'm checking other states to see if they might be living with someone, or, perhaps, the census taker missed them in Albe.
