I am seeking correspondence with living descendants of John Braden Sherwood (1821-1896) and his wife Mary Ray Sherwood (1827-1872). John was born Richland, Logan County, Ohio and died Buchanon County, Missouri. Mary was born Orange County, North Carolina and died Buchanon County, Missouri. They are buried at Davis Chapel Cemetery, in Platte County, Missouri. They were parents to: John Wesley Sherwood Elizabeth Margery Sherwood (my GG-Grandmother) Lucinda Catharine Sherwood Mary Sherwood Letitia Sherwood Lucretia Sherwood Susan Sherwood Rebecca Sherwood George Sherwood James Sherwood Albert Sherwood Joseph Sherwood For a total of 12 children. I believe John Wesley Sherwood was married to Nannie Pierce; Likewise I believe Lucinda was married to Jeremiah Cawley; George may have been married to M.L. Baldwin; Joseph may have been married to Martha A.F. Freeman. Elizabeth was married to Benjamin Reeves Lowry. I have immense Lowry files I will be happy to share with relatives of these Sherwoods.
