I post this message about every six months and have never got an answer, however I will try again in desperation. My GGGGrandpappy Sherwood Sims mother or grandmother was either Elizabeth or Mary Sherwood. Now you probably get the hint as to why I never got an answer. Elizabeth was born in 1672 in Norfolk Va and died Feb 15 1725'26 in St Pauls Paris Va. She married George Symes (Sims) abt 1687 in St Pauls Parrish Va. Mary d. 1687 Kent Co VA married William Symes (Sims) abt 1670. Does any one have any information on these Sherwoods and also hopefully on the Symes (Sims)???
