Does anyone know of a John Sherwood, age 58 in 1850, and his wife Rachel Sherwood, age 59 in 1850, living in Nunda, Livingston Co., New York? I think this is my Isaac's father. My Isaac Sherwood, born 1816. The 1860 census in the same city and county shows a John J. age 23 living with John and Rachel...this looks like Isaac's son, my gggrandfather, because it says that he is a student., and it looks like at a Seminary...which he did attend a seminary. Haven't put this query out there in a while, so thought I would see if anyone has new information, or a new list member might know: Does anyone have any information on the children of Abby Jane Sherwood - Brundage, of NY, circa 1820? My g-g-g-gf was Harvey Brundage, and I have not been able to find out whether this was in fact the son of Abby Jane Sherwood and an unnamed Brundage husband. Harvey was b. in 1835, in either NY or Westchester County. Thank you. Judy Herbert
