I am researching the Middleton family in Shenandoah Co. and have hit a dead end. I am seeking info on a Preston Middleton who married a Pheobe Morris. They had at least a son, John W. Middleton (b. 1839) who married Lucy Ellen Hanson in 1859, and a daughter, Sarah J. Middleton who married Lucy Hanson's brother. So far, I have found Preston Middleton's name as: Preston, Prestley, Risley, and Westly. All the databases I find, go by the spelling I put in and I haven't found him yet. I would especially like to find Preston's parents and siblings. I believe Preston may have died before 1859 because on the 1859 marriage of John W., there is a Jacob Morris who signed for John W. to get married. If anyone has info on the parents of William Hanson and his wife, Nancy Moore, I would appreciate help on them, also. William and Nancy were the parents of Lucy Ellen Hanson Middleton.
