I am searching for the parents of my gg-grandfather, David MORTON, who indicated on census records he was born in NC. The date we have for his birth is circa 1800 but it could have been earlier. By 1817, he and his brothers, George and Thomas and sister Mary Ann MORTON are in Anderson County, TN. I have all descendants from there, but have never been able to find parents in NC.
