Hi Listers: I am planning a trip to Virginia in the next few months. My family lines from 1790-1850 are in the Hardy, Hampshire (WV) and starting around 1840, in the Shenandoah Co. area. Being that I am from Phoenix, Arizona and have NEVER been to Virginia, can anyone tell me the best places to do research, which airport to fly into and the best area to stay. I have heard that the records are kept in Richmond Vir at the State Library. This is quit a drive from Shenandoah Co. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance. CJ Andes [email protected]
