I am looking for information on SHINER, CURLET, HUSE, PIERCE, LISTER/LESTER families of Winchester or Frederick Co. Virginia early 1800s. My great great grandfather George Huse Shiner was born 20 June 1797 near Winchester. He married Rachel Curlet Pierce and they came west. His mother was Rachel Lister. He and his sister Cynthia were orphaned and raised by their maternal grandmother Sarah Gibbons Lister.
