Carla, The place the Hamners grew up in is a town called Schuyler (pronounced "skyler" by the locals). It is not near Warrenton, but is instead, a short distance south of Charlottesville. From Charlottesville you would go south on Rt. 29 and then turn east on Rt 6. There should be signs for the turn off to Schuyler. You will find it easily on a map of the state. Though it is rather hot now, If you have the time, I would recommend walking the grounds of Jefferson's Monticello. Yours, Issodhos
