    3. Can someone please tell me where the Calf Pasture River is? Neither my atlas nor my encyclopedia shows the river. I understand it is the western boundary of Augusta Co., but I still would like to know where the headwaters are, and how long it flows, etc. Two Clemmons men had land on the Calf Pasture. Jacob Clemmons c. 1760 and John Clemmons, 1799. Jacob was deceased by 1760. He had 6 orphaned children. John Clemmons was the son of Christian Clemmons. He already had land there, but on his fathers death, he inherited more. This land was part of the original land grants as I understand it. If anyone has access to a will or deed book from the 1760's and/or 1790-1800, and could give me information re this I would certainly appreciate it. Also, I have no idea where to go beyond Chalkey, and they are not there, to find what happened to these orphaned children of Jacob Clemmons. Also Christian Clemmons it is reported is mentioned in Wayland, but not his heirs. Has anyone ever heard of him and does anyone have any idea who his children were, or where I might go to find out? I appreciate any info on any of these folks. Thanks very much. gail [email protected]
