Is anyone on this list researching the BURKS line? John was born 23 July 1760 in Rockbridge, Va. Married Mary ?. They migrated to Washington and Mercer Counties in Kentucky and John died there after 1813. Always wondered if Mary's last name was "HARPER" because their Granddaughter was named Mary Harper BURKS. Supposedly John's Father was Richard BURKS who married an Elizabeth Minns/Mimms? Have no proof for Richard. Would appreciate any little tidbit of information .... no matter how "small"!
