Under heading FREE SEARCHES, click on new databases. Rockingham County birth records now run from 1853-1896 on the free lists. Click on free lists and go to vital records to find them. There are also Virginia marriages on the free list. A hearty second to the Wallaces recommendation of Rowes (rhymes with bow-wow and not row your boat) Restaurant in Staunton VA. This is among the best Shenandoah Valley food and I should know - I grew up there. We try to always eat at this restaurant on each trip.
