A. B. MITS 1791 (METZ) Shenandoah/Page Cos. There was an abandoned Baker Cemetery located between Pass Run and Dry Run in the general vicinity of present-day Morning Star Lutheran Church in Shenandoah County. VA (present-day Page County, VA). A remaining tombstone was engraved with A. B. MITS 1791. Does anyone recognize this person or his/her connection with the Baker Family? At a later date, 8 Nov. 1810, Peter Metz and Susanna Baker, daughter of Rudolph Baker, were married in Shenandoah County. Apparently sometime around 1820 members of the Metz Family had left the area.
