I thought I would have it from the Neese (Nehs), but didn't. Have you any additional information on daughter, Catherine, d/o Johann Ludwig Zirkle and Maria Eva Bear (Bier)? I did not know that Catherine married an Easterby before Casper Branner....Brannen, Brannan etc. A daughter, Sarah bc 1760 m. Thomas Hinton b. November 9, 1755 and died September 29, can't read it right now. Anyway, daughter Mary Hinton b. 1793 m. Thomas Carden l Rebecca Caroline b. February 7, 1828 m. Thomas Benjamin Neese b. January 1833 in SC but m. 1865 in Hartwell, Hart County, Georgia. l William *Bill* John Neese b. Jan 10, 1858 m. Alyse Alford b. Feb. 1869 ***these dates are conflicting on both of them. l Alpha Olin Neese b. November 9, 1891, Hartwell, Georgia d. July 10, 1975 m. Margaret Euzelia Wilson of Honea Path, SC and they moved to Charleston, SC with her parents and siblings. They had three daughters, my mother being one of them. Margaret Elizabeth Neese b. May 24, 1920 Charleston, SC d. September 19, 1997 Sara Louise Neese b. September 24, 1925 Charleston d. April-May 1992 Myrtice Woodfin Neese b. March 17, 1929 d. 1984 My name is Joy Skipper Hinson d/o Margaret Neese and Otis Sanford Skipper b. Charlotte, NC. The Neese family has been hard to trace. My progenitor is Peter Neise b. 1752 in Germany s/o Johannes Neis and Elizabeth Rausch, I believe, according to LDS. He was in the Rev. War but I do not have his wife or all of his children, etc. I have them no further back than that in Germany either. If you would like more of this family, let me know. You probably noticed the information dwindling. So, which family here do you belong? I have run into some more Neese's from Benjamin's father, William A. Neese, who was the Sheriff of Hart County, Georgia. In, fact several of them. One I am double related to from my grandmother's, Wilson, side. Let me hear from you.
