I am planning a trip to Virginia to the Friedens Church Cemetery, for one important part. I am trying to set up the trip, and I was hoping to find someone who has the records of that old church. My sister, who lives in Washington, said she tried to call someone, using the name of Friedens Church, and there was no phone number listed. I was under the impression that the church was still active. Does it go by another name now? How can I talk to someone who has church membership lists and cemetery records?
