I am descended from Abraham SAVAGE who was one of the early settlers of New Market and was one of the original persons who laid out lots in that town. Somewhere I read that there was a street in New Market, Abram Street, which was supposed to be named after him. We are planning to be in the area next week to show my 83 year old mother where her ancestors lived, and I would love to show her Abram Street. However, the map of New Market on Streets 98 doesn't show an Abram Street. Does anyone know if it still exists? If so, where is it: If not, what is the present name of the original Abram Street? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Joan
