The 1783 and 1785 Shenandoah Tax Lists can be found in "Heads of Families at the First Census of the United States Taken in the Year 1790, Records of the State Enumerations: 1782-1785, Virginia," published originally in 1908 by the Department of Commerce and Labor, Bureau of the Census.
