I have been reading the discussion on the Lutheran Zion Pine Church. I have a book "200 Years in the Shenandoah Valley" by Arthur P. Kelley. In it is the Births, Baptisms, Conformations & Communicants of the Pine Church. starting around 1782 John Rinker and Paul Henkel seem to be the Pastors. By the map in the front of the book this Pine Church is located between the towns of Rinkerton and Forestville on the North Fork of the Shenandoah River. Is this the church you mean, or a different Pine Church. This book is not indexed. I am researching the Harshbarger and Trigler families of that area. Betty.
