I don't know yet if our Wood family is connected. If anyone with Wood can connect to Benjamin Wood, b. abt 1747, m. to Ruth unk. Bef 1770, lived the majority of his married life in Maysville, Mason Co. KY area? I would assume he immigrated to Kentucky from Virginia. These folks are in the right place at approximately the right time to be ancestors of my Jefferson Wood who by 1850 was in Washington County, Tennessee. If anyone has further on Jefferson Wood, I would be delighted to talk to them.
