Pat - there is about a half page of entries for Wood and Woods in this Land Grant book - do you have a first name? You might also want to look at the 1785 Head of house census for Wood.....or had yours left Shenandoah Co Va by then? Also check the 1783 and 1785 head of household census for Wood/Woods..... 1785 I find a John Wood and William Wood in location of Front Royal Charel Wood on Back Road not far from Moore's Store- from Massanutten Mt on east to Great North Mountain on the west( New Market, Quicksburg, Forrestville, and Moore's Store) Thomas Wood - around Lebanon Church, Wheatfield, Topnot, and north to Cedar Creek. George Wood - near Woodstock and vicinity from the river to the North Mountain those might be of help to you.
