Okay - Spencer was easy to find online - and I found a Shenandoah Co wills book (Gilreath) at a library an hour from me. so go through the book and find what I want - in the Frederick one of Spencer Leheu - the date = 16 Sep 1802/1 Feb 1803 - (p96-98) then take this info and either order the film, write to a Gen/Historical society, County Courthouse or the Library of VA with the info and ask for a copy. Did I get it right? Julie in CA --------------------------------- Bored stiff? Loosen up... Download and play hundreds of games for free on Yahoo! Games.
If it's Frederick Co., last time I was there, I think they will copy it for you. At least, I know that when you go there in person, they let you copy it yourself. If it's Shen. Co. you have to order it from the Library of VA. SC no longer copies any records for anyone, and they also will not let you copy the old records yourself.
