The recent Courthouse Shooting in Atlanta which has dominated the news brings to mind the "Courthouse Shootout" in Hillsville, Va. My great grandfather was due to be on the jury for the Allen trial that day but was too sick to attend. A cousin of my grandmother, Harry F.
