One mill that is nearby, and served the Shenandoah Valley through its working lifetime, is Burwell-Morgan Mill in Millwood. Millwood is not far from Berryville in Clarke County. The mill has recently been restored to its original (1780s) condition and grinds wheat or corn Saturdays from April through November. It is open several other days each week.
