Hi, I'm new to the list. I am looking for any information on William and Eliza (Weaver) Colbert. They are my grgrgrandparents. I found them in the 1860 census living at Powells Fort, Shenandoah, Va. They had the following children John, James, Benjamin, Robert, William (my grgrandfather), Jacob and Jack. All born in Va. William ,moved to Pa. and married Harriet Ellen Hamer/Hammer. He died in March 1910 in Williamsburg, Blair Co., Pa. So far I haven't been able to find anything on my grgrgrandparents or William's siblings. Any help is much appreciated. Maxine

I am searching for the parents of Simon Herrell, Harroll etc. of Shenandoah, Frederick, Warren Counties, VA. Simon served in the Rev. War and his wife Lydia Harrison Herrell received a pension in Warren Co., Va. about 1830-35. Simon had several children by his first wife and one son, George, by Lydia Harrison his second wife.
