I am sure I should have stated that Ralph Shelton died in 1733 in Middlesex County, VA, documented by the record of his death in the Christ Church Parish Register and by his will which is recorded in Middlesex County Will Book B. Pittsylvania County was not created until 34 years after Ralph's death. Pittsylvania County was created in 1767. So Ralph was not, could not, have been born in Pittsylvania County. Miller used that title for her book because so many descendants of Ralph lived in Pittsylvania County. Hildred
