In the wagon with him was Hattie, his wife, Atlas, Ernest, Nara, and Pearl. After they arrived in Moyer, Oklahoma, they added five more children to their family. Their son, Orville, was killed in the hedgerows in France during WW II. Unfortunately, George Andrew was fatally injured by a falling tree and died in Jan. of 1910. My line is Ernest who was born in Perry County, Tenn. Ernest became a rural mail carrier in Hugo, Oklahoma for 34 years. Are you familiar with this line of the family or did you have additional questions? I wrote about the family for my hometown newspaper, The Hugo Daily News, for a six month period so I have some information and would be glad to share.
