I have a Shelton line that I have been working on for seveal years. They were in Perry Co. in the early 1800's. In particular, Joel Shelton who married Mary Polly Davidson. There was also an older James Shelton, a George Shelton who died in the War of 1812, and others. Do you know any more about your Sheltons -- in particular -- where they came from before TN and any other information that might help with the Shelton line in Perry?
