John and Abraham Davidson were in Stewart-Dickson counties with Abraham later going to Humphreys. I can find no record of spouses for John and Abraham (although I've seen that Abraham's wife was Sarah Ellis???). Shelton lines are also in the area and associated with the Davidson surname. It is interesting to note that Cuthbert Huson, Willis Hopwood and Lucy Hudson witnessed Mark Shelton's will. Cuthbert Hudson served in the War of 1812 from Dickson Co,. TN with Joel Shelton and John Davidson being under his command. These lines have been difficult to sort out because of a lack of records for verification.
