Sorry for being too vague, Gloria In the mid 1820's when McMinn was first settled John Shelton is found next door to John Scrimsher in east McMinn. He's married to the dtr of John Scrimsher....Elizabeth. Their dtr, Anna, married Josiah Childers, Jr. Josiah and Anna's dtr gave testimony year later that John Shelton was a doctor and came into McMinn with his brother who was also a doctor.
