    3. Gloria Since I have found Azariah associated with Palatiah SHELTON in Monroe County and A. Shelton listed as a Doctor....then the strong possibility that this "A. Shelton" is the son of John Shelton of Monroe/McMinn do you think this is enough?     3. Joyce I have no idea. Which John are you referring to? The Palatiah Chilton listed in the 1830 Rhea Co, TN Census Records 001111-0121 is depicted as being born 1790-1800. My interest in researching the Palatiah Shelton's is the one born Abt 1735 & I think there is a "possibility" he maybe the father of my William Shelton b Abt. 1772 NC d Dec 01, 1862 Campbell Co, TN m to unknown. (No documented proof) Do you have any info relating to William Shelton as a "possible son" to Palatiah Shelton b Abt 1735.
