We're obviously cousins. I noted something from the website that I have wondered about before. It doesn't prove anything, but it's interesting. James Shelton married a Francis Dallas. My uncle (Emmitt's son) was Shirley Dallas Shelton. I have found the he was probably named for my grandmother Anna Nee Washington Shelton's little brother, Sherley. However, there is no one in the family that I have ever been able to find who was named Dallas. Since they commonly passed names along to different generations, could there be a connection here?
